Online digital Publications
Daily Mail:
The daily tends to have a single large story on the front of the newspaper in singular view whereas on the website they put more stories on display on the front page of the website. They still have the main headline for that day but they have large sections taken up by by other stories where as the paper has one large article then small ones in the space left. The Daily Mail also has a lot of advertisements to pay for the website.
The Guardian:
The Daily Mail shows that they are dramatising the articles a bit by having big pictures and sensualist headlines to attract readers attentions. Where as The Guardian has smaller pictures accurate headlines that describe the story and large amounts of information on what happened. So both news agencies attract different types people the Daily Mail attracts the kind of people who want the quick facts or want the actual story behind whats happening. The Guardian instead gives people the facts and figures and has little drama.
The Political Ideologies of The Guardian, They favour Labour readers, Show us that they are left centric. This more socialist, radical go for change. This is seen in their articles, they want to use the stats and figures to challenge peoples ideas and thoughts to make them think about change. The Political ideologies of the Daily Mail are right wing this means that they are conservative. Also most of their readers are very right wing with their political agendas. This is seem in their articles and stories as they don't call for change they more focus on "pulling heart strings" or causing drama with no lasting effect on anyone. This is were both the papers differ The Guardian try to change things where as the Daily Mail rather just make stories and doesn't go for change.

The Guardian I believe spends more on its online brand as there website seems more modern and up to date than the Daily Mail which looks straight out of 2009 in website design. The Guardian seems to have adapted to how websites are going today therefore seeming as though they spend more money on it.
The Daily Mail generates revenue by having sponsored articles on their homepage for people to click on. The Guardian however has a donation page where you can give money to help keep the website going and they also get money if they do any sponsored stories which are posted on their like the Daily Mail.
Both The Daily Mail and The Guardian have comment sections on the articles they also allow you to give tips on stories on their website greatly increasing the interactivity between the articles writers and the readers.
