Radiohead - Burn the Witch
Radio Head the Indie / pop Band that has been around from 1985 to present day still making songs that people from around enjoy. They seem to present themselves as a dark or "edgy" band in most of there promotional material they are mostly dressed in dark colours and looking down. There music has always had an oppressive nature with a single person fighting back against the oppression from this we see that the true nature of the music is coming from people seem the feel or empathise people who are oppressed, this gives the medium a new way or reaching people as the songs always make you feel something good no matter the context or the reasons behind the song.
Moon shaped pool is the bands ninth album which exploded to commercial and critical success with solid reviews or 4 and 5 / 5. the album art was done by Stanley Donwood who has done a lot for the band over the years being their main artist for cover art. Chris Hopewell Has been working with the band for a while since 2003 and has done many other projects with different artists. and in 2003 he got an award for radio Heads video.
The wicker man was one of the first horror movies to make it big, it is about a man who visits an island of people who are absolutely insane and burn the police officer in a giant wicker man to sacrifice him to their gods in an attempt to appease them.
The Trumptonshire Trilogy when around in the 1960's as a kids film that used dolls and strings to make a animated V series that Radio Head, would of watched doing their childhood. So this would of been a huge inspiration for them and would of watched this most morning as during the 60's there wasn't much on TV for them watch. Since the video took such a large inspiration from this the creators son of trumptonshire tried to sue radio head. They failed but there is large similarities between them.
