How I’m linking my idea to the media theoretical framework.

Product 1 - The two BillBoard Posters -

I will use short lines containing rhetorical and/or alliteration to create catchy and memorable lines for the poster to make people remember what they have read and what it is that is being advertised. This is important as people will only look at the poster for a very short amount of time so I only have a few seconds to catch someone's attention. One way of doing this is through clever word usage. I will use words, phrases and (conjugations if applicable) to target my audience age range. In order to make sure that the posters are not seen as offensive or “cringy” I will ensure that nothing stereotypical is used in order to keep the poster catchy and rememberable for the right reasons. This is crucial as, if the poster is considered offensive or if people feel it is making fun of a certain group of people it will get exposure for the wrong reasons creating very bad publicity. This will create a stigma around the product and even the company that makes and anyone else involved with the product. It is very important that the demographic for the poster feels as though it is talking directly to them making them feel involved. This is important as if they feel they are specifically being targeted and talked to they are more likely to remember the poster and buy the products. The companies, organisations and charities that are involved with the company to bring the product that is being advertised, will be displayed on the poster this will help to keep the poster memorable as well-known brands will bring more attention to the product as people will be able to associate to it more easily if a band, organisation or person they recognise are involved with it. I can also grab people's attention very quickly by using celebrities that are well known as people will recognise them very quickly meaning that will look at the rest poster. To summarise I will be using a short catchy slogan on the poster alongside an instantly recognisable logo or company/organisation. The slogan will appeal to the demographic that the product is targeted at and the logo will be from a company/organisation that is involved with that demographic as well. There will also be a fair trade logo in a prominent place on the poster as that is the main selling point of the product.
